Summary: | The invention discloses a modified recombinant monoclonal IgM antibody of an HIV-1 (human immunodeficiency virus-1) neutralizing antibody and application of the modified recombinant monoclonal IgM antibody. The modified recombinant monoclonal IgM antibody of the HIV-1 neutralizing antibody comprises (a) a heavy chain constant region, and the amino acid sequence of the IgM heavy chain constant region is as shown in SEQ ID NO: 1; (b) a light chain constant region, (c) a heavy chain variable region, and (d) a light chain variable region. According to the neutralizing antibody modified by the IgM, not only is the affinity of the antibody improved, but also the neutralizing activity of the antibody is indirectly improved, and more strategies are provided for prevention of HIV-1 and vaccine development.
