Summary: | The invention provides a process for selecting copper from iron-containing waste residues. The process comprises the following steps that iron powder and ammonium fluoride are added into titanium dioxide waste acid to react for a period of time, and then a titanium dioxide waste acid pre-solution is obtained; s2, adding iron-containing waste residues into the titanium white waste acid pre-solution, and controlling the reaction temperature to be 20-50 DEG C; s3, after the reaction is finished, adjusting the pH value of the solution to 3-4.5, adding a nano precipitator, reacting for a period of time, adding a modified flocculant, and filtering and washing to obtain precipitated copper; according to the method, the titanium dioxide waste acid is utilized to leach copper from the iron-containing waste residues, then the nano precipitant is utilized to precipitate copper from the leachate, waste is treated with waste, resources are recycled, and greater economic benefits are brought to enterprises.
