The invention discloses an ultrasonic motor stator and an excitation method thereof. The ultrasonic motor stator comprises a stator elastomer, a stator driving foot and a piezoelectric ceramic piece, the stator elastic body is a cross-shaped thin plate or a thin plate shaped like a Chinese character'wang ', wherein the cross-shaped thin plate is composed of a driving plate and two excitation plates which are the same in thickness. Two long and thick side faces of the cross-shaped thin plate driving plate are connected with wide and thick side faces of the two excitation plates respectively.
