Summary:Methods of providing a homogeneous or homogeneous catalytic coating on an inorganic fibrous substrate include the use of a vacuum coated substrate, an improved coating solution or mixture, and/or a drying process to prevent migration of a metal catalyst precursor to the outer surface and edge of the inorganic fibrous substrate.
