The invention relates to the technical field of material sorting, and discloses an intelligent robot sorting control system which comprises the following modules: a data acquisition module, a data processing module, a control module and a man-machine interaction module, the data acquisition module is used for acquiring defect information and time sequence data of materials; and the data processing module is used for processing and classifying the collected data. Through an AI technology, automatic operation, including data input, preprocessing, deep learning model reasoning and result output operation, of an FPGA processing unit is realized, and through a background subtraction method based on an image processing technology and a semantic segmentation algorithm based on deep learning, a hardware acceleration version of the algorithm on the FPGA is realized; a hardware acceleration version of a convolutional neural network is designed and realized for generating a target image, a real-time background separatio
