Summary:The invention provides a manufacturing method of a high-power vertically-wound air-cooled electric reactor and the electric reactor. The manufacturing method comprises the following steps that an iron core is installed on a lower yoke; flat wires are made into a plurality of wire turns, and the wire turns are sequentially arranged on the iron core in a sleeving mode; the inter-turn gap is filled with a positioning structure used for reducing relative movement between the adjacent wire turns, so that the multiple wire turns form an integrally fixed coil; the upper yoke covers the coil, and then a fastener penetrates through the mounting lugs of the upper yoke and the lower yoke to tension the plurality of wire turns and the positioning structure filled in the inter-turn gap part; and the terminals are respectively arranged on the upper yoke and the lower yoke and are connected with the coil to form the reactor.
