The invention provides an image data operation method and device based on a data storage system and a medium, and relates to the technical field of computers.The method comprises the steps that under the condition that an initial operation statement input by a user is detected, the initial operation statement is analyzed, and at least one key element in the initial operation statement is obtained; filling the at least one key element into a preset operation statement template corresponding to the target data storage system to obtain a target operation statement corresponding to the target data storage system; and performing image data operation in the target data storage system by utilizing the target operation statement. According to the embodiment of the invention, the initial operation statement is converted into the target operation statement corresponding to any target data storage system, a user only needs to master the data format of the initial operation statement and does not need to know operations
