Summary: | A method of increasing carbon dioxide concentration in anode off-gas, the method comprising: flowing flue gas to a cathode portion of a fuel cell assembly; flowing an anode off-gas containing hydrogen and dioxide from an anode portion of the fuel cell assembly to a methane converter; converting a portion of hydrogen and a portion of carbon dioxide in the anode exhaust gas into methane using a methane converter to produce a methanated anode exhaust gas having a carbon dioxide concentration higher than that of the anode exhaust gas; and separating carbon dioxide from the methanated anode off-gas using a gas separation device.
