The invention relates to a polyurethane elastomer and a preparation method thereof, self-healing polyurethane containing dynamic imidazole urea bonds is synthesized by utilizing reaction of 2, 2-diimidazole methane and isophorone diisocyanate, and the physically crosslinked polyurethane elastomer containing double dynamic bonds of copper ion coordination bonds and imidazole urea bonds is prepared.
