The invention discloses application of cryptotanshinone or pharmaceutical salt in preparation of a medicine for treating radiation-induced pulmonary fibrosis. The medicine for treating radiation-induced pulmonary fibrosis is a pharmaceutical composition which is prepared from traditional Chinese medicine micromolecule cryptotanshinone as a unique active component or the traditional Chinese medicine micromolecule cryptotanshinone and at least one pharmaceutically acceptable auxiliary material. According to the application of the traditional Chinese medicine micromolecular cryptotanshinone or the pharmaceutical salt in preparation of the medicine for treating the radiation-induced pulmonary fibrosis, in-vivo radiation modeling animal experiments show that the traditional Chinese medicine micromolecular cryptotanshinone can remarkably improve the damage degree of the lung tissue structure, the fibrosis score is well improved so as to relieve the radiation-induced pulmonary fibrosis, and the application of the tr
