Summary:A milling system may be used to remove a portion of a faulty valve that blocks a wellbore. When milling a partially open valve that blocks a wellbore, the target material to be removed may not be present at the central axis of the wellbore, resulting in the target material not completely surrounding the milling bit, which may cause the bit to deviate from the target during milling, thereby decreasing milling efficiency. The disclosed milling system can be used to mill and capture samples of any downhole obstructions that are free of any material near the central axis of the wellbore.
