The invention discloses a preparation method of a distillate oil aromatic hydrocarbon saturation catalyst, which comprises the following steps: (1) uniformly mixing pseudo-boehmite powder and sesbania powder, then adding a peptizing agent and deionized water, mixing and kneading, and then extruding, drying and roasting to obtain a carrier; (2) preparing an active metal impregnation liquid, and adding active metal guiding assistants nitrilotriacetic acid, cyclohexanediamine tetraacetic acid, citric acid and diethylenetriamine pentaacetic acid in the preparation process; and (3) impregnating the carrier obtained in the step (1) in the active metal impregnation liquid obtained in the step (2), drying, and roasting in an oxygen-containing atmosphere to obtain the distillate oil aromatic hydrocarbon saturation catalyst.
