The invention belongs to the field of butterfly valves, and particularly relates to an anti-sediment butterfly valve which comprises a valve wall, two flange plates fixedly connected to the valve wall, a plurality of bolt holes formed in each flange plate, a water outlet formed in the valve wall, a water inlet formed in the valve wall, a valve plate shaft rotationally connected to the interior of the valve wall, and two sealing rings fixedly connected to the interior of the valve wall. The bottom end of the valve wall is fixedly connected with a bottom cover, the valve plate shaft is fixedly connected with a butterfly valve plate, a limiting block is fixedly connected in the water outlet, the valve plate shaft is slidably connected with a clutch sliding sleeve, a plurality of spline grooves are formed in the inner wall of the clutch sliding sleeve, the valve plate shaft is fixedly provided with a plurality of splines, and the clutch sliding sleeve is fixedly connected with a first spring and a main shaft. The
