The lycopene crystal has five diffraction peaks with the diffraction peak area intensity larger than 20%, and the diffraction peaks are located at the following diffraction angles 2 theta: 5.20 +/-0.20 degrees, 16.24 +/-0.20 degrees, 20.84 +/-0.20 degrees, 22.27 +/-0.20 degrees and 24.55 +/-0.20 degrees. The crystal is remarkably improved in product quality and utilization rate, is high in purity, strong in stability and bright in color, and is suitable for being applied to foods and beverages.
