Summary: | The purpose of the present invention is to provide a photochromic compound which can exhibit photochromic properties independent of a substrate and which is stably dispersed without aggregation during an optical substrate molding process (curing process). According to the present invention, by means of a polymer photochromic compound having an oligomer chain group having a comparatively excellent compatibility with a solid substrate and a block polymer-like group of an oligomer chain group having a poor compatibility with the solid substrate, a phase-separated structure in the nanometer to micrometer order is formed in the solid substrate. As a result, it is possible to improve dispersibility and suppress aggregation without depending on a solid substrate, and as a result, it is possible to exhibit a high degree of photochromic properties.
