There is provided a method of making a dry cell culture medium powder, the method comprising: providing a dry component of a desired cell culture medium; mixing the dry component with an aqueous solution to form a paste; drying the paste to form a dehydrated medium product; and grinding the dehydrated culture medium product to achieve a dry powder of cell culture medium having a desired particle size.
