Summary:The invention discloses a polarization multiplexing PAM4RoF-FSO system fusing an optical fiber link and a free space channel, which adopts a polarization multiplexing and four-order pulse amplitude modulation mode to generate a polarization multiplexing PAM4 signal at a transmitting end, and transmits the signal through a 25km single-mode optical fiber and a 100mFSO channel at a rate of 10Gbit/s. And the transmission characteristics of the polarization multiplexing RoF-FSO system and the sensitivity of the receiver are tested. A test result shows that a receiving eye pattern of a 10Gbit/s polarization multiplexing PAM4 signal transmitted in a 25km SMF-28 channel and a 100m FSO channel is clear and visible, the signal receiving quality is relatively good, and under the condition that the error rate is 10 <-3 >, the optimal judgment points of two paths of data signals demodulated and restored after polarization demultiplexing are measured to be 0.5 bit and 0.46 bit respectively.
