Summary: | The present invention relates to a chain transfer agent comprising an organozinc compound, a method for preparing the same, and a method for preparing a block copolymer using the same. The chain transfer agent is prepared by a preparation method including preparing a Grignard reagent containing styrene residues and reacting the prepared Grignard reagent with an alkylzinc alkoxide as a zinc compound, and contains 96 wt% or more of a target compound without catalyst poisons and by-products. The block copolymer polymerized using the chain transfer agent and the resin composition comprising the block copolymer have excellent mechanical properties.
