The invention discloses a method for identifying the breeding value of a dairy cow embryo. The method comprises the following steps: carrying out genome selection on an in-vitro to-be-detected dairy cow embryonic cell to obtain a genome breeding value of a to-be-detected dairy cow embryo, and identifying the breeding value of the dairy cow embryo according to the genome breeding value. The invention develops a new technology for rapidly detecting and evaluating the hereditary performance of the dairy cow breeding embryo before implantation, and performs early accurate genome detection and genetic evaluation on the embryo in combination with an embryo micromanipulation sampling technology and a genome selection technology.
