The invention relates to a method for producing a molded ceramic body for sintering and to a method for producing a sintered ceramic body. A method of manufacturing a ceramic molded body for sintering includes molding a raw material powder containing a ceramic powder and a thermoplastic resin having a glass transition temperature higher than room temperature into a predetermined shape by isostatic pressing, wherein a raw material slurry is prepared by adding a ceramic powder and a thermoplastic resin to a solvent such that the thermoplastic resin is present in an amount of 2-40 wt% of the total weight of the ceramic powder and the thermoplastic resin, and a cast molded body is formed by wet casting the raw material slurry into a predetermined shape, drying and performing first-stage isostatic pressing at a temperature lower than the glass transition temperature of the thermoplastic resin to form a first-stage press-molded body, and then heating the first-stage press-molded body to a temperature higher than th
