The invention relates to the field of water treatment, and discloses a red-mud-based magnetic fluorine removal agent as well as a preparation method and application thereof. The method comprises the following steps: (1) mixing red mud with coke, roasting, and leaching the roasted product in a sulfuric acid solution; and (2) adjusting the pH value of the material obtained in the step (1) to 5-7, then aging, and then drying and grinding the aged material. According to the method, the fluorine removal agent can be successfully prepared from the red mud, the preparation cost of the fluorine removal agent is reduced, the prepared fluorine removal agent has high fluorine removal efficiency, the preparation method is simple and convenient, and the method has great industrial application prospects. 本发明涉及水处理领域，公开了一种赤泥基磁性除氟剂及其制备方法和应用。所述方法包括以下步骤：(1)将赤泥与焦炭混合后进行焙烧，然后将焙烧产物在硫酸溶液中浸出；(2)将步骤(1)得到的物料的pH值调节至5-7，然后进行陈化，接着将陈化后的物料进行干燥和研磨。该方法可以成功利用赤泥来制备除氟剂，降低除氟剂的制备成本，并且制备得到的除氟剂具备高的除氟效率，制备方法简便，具备很大的工业应用前景。
