The invention discloses a photocurable emulsion type semi-permanent silicon-containing release agent and a preparation method and application thereof, and belongs to the technical field of organic silicon fine chemical engineering, the method comprises the following steps: preparing mercaptopropyl polysiloxane; synthesizing vinyl silicone resin; and emulsifying. The main components of the product are mercaptopropyl siloxane and vinyl silicone resin, and functional groups of the mercaptopropyl siloxane and the vinyl silicone resin can be subjected to a'mercapto-alkene addition reaction 'under the action of a photoinitiator through UV (ultraviolet) rays in sunlight without additional thermocuring. An emulsion obtained by emulsifying mercaptopropyl siloxane and vinyl silicone resin has a good demolding effect in a PU product and an epoxy resin product, product pollution caused by release agent transfer is avoided, and the phenomenon that a mold is dirty due to poor adhesive force of the release agent is avoided;
