Summary:Aspects of the present disclosure relate to transmitting a partial frequency sounding configuration to a user equipment (UE) using enhanced downlink control information. The UE may receive, in downlink control information, a partial frequency sounding configuration generated for the UE; transmitting a sounding reference signal (SRS) in one or more resources configured for transmission of the SRS in a bandwidth used by the UE, the one or more resources being identified by a partial frequency sounding configuration; and avoiding transmission in a portion of the set of resources configured for SRS transmission in the bandwidth used by the UE.
