Summary: | The invention provides a preparation method of a carbon nanotube loaded nickel-molybdenum alloy catalyst, which comprises the following steps: A) treating a carbon nanotube by using a Hummers method to obtain a treated carbon nanotube; b) mixing the treated carbon nanotubes, polyvinylpyrrolidone, nickel salt, molybdate, alcohol and water, then dropwise adding ammonia water, reacting for 10-30 minutes, and then carrying out hydrothermal reaction; and C) drying the product of the hydrothermal reaction, and calcining at a high temperature in a hydrogen-containing atmosphere to obtain the carbon nanotube loaded nickel-molybdenum alloy catalyst. The invention also provides a carbon nanotube loaded nickel-molybdenum alloy catalyst and application thereof.
