The invention discloses a start-stop control method and device for vehicle charging, a storage medium and a controller, and the method comprises the steps: obtaining a vehicle state signal of a to-be-charged vehicle, and carrying out the preprocessing of the vehicle state signal; wherein the vehicle state signal comprises the vehicle speed of the to-be-charged vehicle, an air conditioning system fault state, a charging system fault state and a charging gun connection state; identifying the charging state type of the to-be-charged vehicle according to the processed vehicle state signal; wherein the charging state type comprises a charging condition satisfaction state or a charging condition non-satisfaction state; and outputting a corresponding charging start-stop instruction signal and a charging start-stop state signal according to the charging state type. By adopting the technical scheme of the invention, the control logic of vehicle charging start-stop can be simplified, the control complexity can be reduc
