Provided are: a magnetic resin composition for injection molding, which has high relative permeability and excellent moldability even when injection molding is performed; and an injection molded article for magnetic shielding. In this magnetic resin composition, scale-like particles comprising an Fe-Si-Al alloy are used as magnetic particles (B), the mass ratio of a thermoplastic resin (A) having a melting point of 100-400 DEG C to the Fe-Si-Al alloy is 10/90-15/85, and a cut surface (52) in the thickness direction of a sheet (50) formed from the magnetic resin composition (1) satisfies the conditions (1) and (2).
