Summary: | Calculation prediction of immunogenic epitopes is a promising platform for designing therapeutic and prophylactic vaccines. For example, a potential target is human immunodeficiency virus (HIV-1), despite several decades of efforts, there is no available vaccines. In fact, due to the huge variability of the virus, a single formulation may not be effective against all or most HIV strains. In addition, upon infection of a host cell, HIV-1 can be integrated into a host genome and form a persistent latent library that is insensitive to common antiretroviral treatments. Thus, a therapeutic vaccine intended to eliminate infected cells may represent a key component of the strategy intended to cure the infection. We introduce an automated algorithm to produce personalized and population-based vaccines.
