Summary: | The present disclosure relates to a sterile separation element (1) for sterile separation, which is arranged to be arranged between plug connectors (10, 11) of a plug connection/electromechanical gate (2) and thus provide sterile separation of the plug connectors (10, 11). According to the invention, the electromechanical gate (2) has at least one electrical contact pin (9) which individually passes through the sterile separating element (1) such that the sterile separating element (1) completely rests against the at least one electrical contact pin (9) in a directly anti-microbial manner, the at least one electrical contact pin (9) having two free pin ends, the pin ends are provided and designed to enter an electromechanical or electrically conductive plug contact with corresponding electrical sockets (12) of at least two conductors (5) to be connected.
