Summary: | The invention belongs to the technical field of lithium ion batteries, and particularly relates to application of methyl trifluoroethyl carbonate which is used as a main solvent of an electrolyte of a manganese-based positive electrode lithium ion battery system to inhibit manganese dissolution of a manganese-based positive electrode; the main solvent is not less than 55wt% of the total weight of the electrolyte. When methyl trifluoroethyl carbonate is used as a main solvent, the methyl trifluoroethyl carbonate has a relatively good effect of inhibiting manganese dissolution, and meanwhile, the invention also discloses a lithium ion battery and a method for improving manganese dissolution of a manganese positive electrode.
