A method for producing a polyacetal resin, characterized by comprising a polymerization step in which a polymerization reaction is carried out using (a) a cyclic ether and/or a cyclic formal containing at least trioxymethylene, (b) boron trifluoride or a boron trifluoride complex, and (c) an organic solvent.
