The invention discloses a boring tool. The boring tool comprises a tool base; the first positioning piece is arranged on the tool base and is used for extruding the peripheral sides of the two workpieces when the half holes of the two workpieces are closed to form a round hole; and the second positioning piece is arranged opposite to the tool base and used for pressing the two folded workpieces towards the tool base. The boring tool can be used for machining and manufacturing parts such as a main bearing cover of a marine diesel engine.
