Summary: | The present disclosure provides a diagnostic apparatus including a calculator that calculates a value related to a capacity of a battery cell based on a comparison result between a measured Q-V curve indicating a relationship between a voltage obtained from measurement data of the battery cell and an integrated current amount and a reference Q-V curve. The calculator also calculates a capacity fading amount caused by a voltage difference between the measured Q-V curve and a reference Q-V curve by multiplying a slope of the measured Q-V curve by the voltage difference, and calculates a temporary maximum capacity after capacity fading caused by a change in the slope of the measured Q-V curve with respect to a slope of the reference Q-V curve.
