The invention provides a motor control apparatus and method, a motor module, and an electric power steering apparatus. This motor control device is provided with: a torque controller that operates in accordance with a steering torque and supplies an input to a control target for a motor; and a model tracking controller that generates a correction torque on the basis of the output from the control object, and corrects the input of the control object by means of the correction torque. The model tracking controller includes a high-pass filter having a first cut-off frequency and a low-pass filter having a second cut-off frequency larger than the first cut-off frequency, and is configured so that when the transfer functions of the low-pass filter and the high-pass filter are respectively set as Q (s) and HPF (s), the transfer functions of the low-pass filter and the high-pass filter are respectively set as Q (s) and HPF (s), in a frequency band in which the gain in the gain characteristics of Q (s) HPF (s) is 1.
