Summary:Methods and systems are provided for assembling components, such as for manufacturing a vehicle. An exemplary method includes grasping components with an assembly robot and determining an identification, position, and orientation of each component with a visual robot. Further, the method includes determining position adjustments and/or orientation adjustments required to align the components for joining based on the position and orientation of each component. The method further includes instructing the respective assembly robots to move the respective components to align the components for joining based on the position adjustments and/or the orientation adjustments.
