Techniques for a remote decomposed infrastructure processing unit (IPU) are described. An apparatus described herein includes an interconnect controller to: receive a transactional layer packet (TLP) from a host computing node; identifying a sender and a destination from the TLP; and transmitting the keywords determined from the sender and the destination to a content addressable memory (CAM). An apparatus as described herein may further include core circuitry communicatively coupled to an interconnect controller, the core circuitry to: determine an output of the CAM based on a keyword, the output including a network address of an infrastructure processing unit (IPU) assigned to a host computing node, where the IPU is decomposed from the host computing node over the network; and transmitting the TLP to the IPU using a transport protocol. 描述了用于远程分解式基础设施处理单元(IPU)的技术。本文中所描述的装置包括互连控制器，该互连控制器用于：从主机计算节点接收事务层分组(TLP)；从TLP标识发送方和目的地；以及将从发送方和目的地确定的关键字发送至内容可寻址存储器(CAM)。如本文中所描述的装置可以进一步包括可通信地耦合至互连控制器的核心电路，该核心电路用于：基于关键字来确定CA
