The invention provides a CEPH-based data storage method and apparatus, and an electronic device, which are used for reducing time delay during data storage and avoiding the problem that CEPH in the prior art cannot meet a use scene with a low time delay requirement. The method is applied to a main OSD, and comprises the following steps: receiving to-be-stored data; storing the to-be-stored data, and sending first information to a client; wherein the first information is used for indicating that the to-be-stored data is written into a disk; and sending the to-be-stored data to a slave OSD, so that the slave OSD stores the to-be-stored data. 本发明提供一种基于CEPH存储数据的方法、装置及电子设备，用以降低存储数据时的时延，避免现有技术中CEPH无法满足低时延要求的使用场景的问题。该方法应用于主OSD，包括：接收待存储数据；存储所述待存储数据，并向客户端发送第一信息；其中，所述第一信息用于指示所述待存储数据被写入磁盘；向从OSD发送所述待存储数据，使所述从OSD存储所述待存储数据。
