Summary: | The invention discloses a satellite formation keeping method based on pipeline model predictive control. The method comprises the following steps: establishing a satellite relative motion model; determining the state and control input constraint of the satellite relative motion model; according to the determined state of the satellite relative motion model and the control input constraint, optimization problem solving is carried out, and the optimal control quantity is obtained; and according to the solved optimal control quantity, controlling a thruster ignition strategy of each satellite in the satellite formation, and realizing that a track of the satellite tracking the reference satellite is an optimal track. Based on the method provided by the invention, the orbit control force required by each satellite in the satellite formation can be determined, so that the satellites in the formation not only can ensure a safe spacing distance, but also can keep a relatively stable position relationship.
