Summary: | The present disclosure relates generally to apparatuses and methods for wireless monitoring of structural health of energy storage devices, and more particularly to energy storage devices with wireless dynamic in situ monitoring and methods of use. In one aspect, an apparatus for wirelessly monitoring an energy storage device is provided. The apparatus comprises an energy storage device, the energy storage device comprising an electrode, the electrode comprising a nanotube network; a radio frequency identification (RFID) system, the RFID system comprising: an RFID tag comprising a conductive material, the RFID tag attached to or embedded within the electrode; and an RFID (Radio Frequency Identification Device) reader, wherein the RFID reader is positioned outside the energy storage device.
