Summary:The invention relates to a method for calculating a pass plan of a stable rolling process when rolling a metal strip in a rolling mill and to a corresponding computer program product. In this case, the offset is varied until the calculated target horizontal force meets a predetermined limit criterion. It means that the roller set and the rolling process are stable at the moment when the limit standard is met.
