Summary:Enhanced display rotation techniques are described in which the arrangement of on-screen elements and user interfaces may be controlled based on a combination of inputs from a sensor system of a device indicating a positioning relationship. The output position for the element is controlled depending on the calculated position of the user with respect to the device and the alignment of the device with the magnetic direction. Positioning and alignment may be derived based on sensor data, including at least a camera that acquires eye tracking data and a compass for determining alignment of the device. Other factors may also be considered, such as data from accelerometers, face tracking through cameras, gaze direction, proximity sensors, and other sensor data.
