The electrode connection structure of the lightning arrester with the external series gap is used for being arranged between a lightning arrester body and a low-voltage gap electrode so as to adjust the relative position and the relative distance between the lightning arrester body and the low-voltage gap electrode. The electrode connection structure realizes control on the relative position and the gap distance between a low-voltage gap electrode and a high-voltage gap electrode, and comprises a first connection piece and a second connection piece.
