The invention provides a method and system for enhancing the quality of a frame sequence, and the method comprises the steps: a first-stage circuit adjusts the quality of a frame sequence to be output and outputs a frame sequence with quality degradation when detecting a specific condition of a system resource, the quality degradation of the frame sequence includes at least one of a non-uniform resolution and a non-uniform number of frames per second (FPS); the boost engine receives a sequence of frames from the first stage circuit and generates an enhanced sequence of frames based on the sequence of frames for transmission to the second stage circuit.
