The present invention relates to: a matting agent comprising emulsion polymer particles which can be produced by a simple process such as an emulsion polymerization method and which have the advantage of relatively easily adjusting the degree of crosslinking; a matting polymer composition comprising the matting agent; and a method for producing the matting polymer composition. Furthermore, when a matting polymer composition is produced using a matting agent comprising the emulsion polymer particles, it is possible to produce a molded article having an excellent matting effect while having a beautiful appearance without reducing mechanical properties such as impact strength and tensile strength of conventional thermoplastic polymers, and in particular, it is possible to produce the matting polymer composition.
