Summary: | The invention provides a method for activating the electrochromic performance of a NiO film. The method comprises the following steps that S1, the NiO film is placed in an alkaline aqueous electrolyte under a three-electrode system to be subjected to color changing circulation; s2, adjusting an electrochemical method, adjusting voltage to continuously change color and circulate, and continuously acting for 2 hours; s3, the thin film is taken out of the electrolyte and washed with deionized water to remove the electrolyte remaining on the surface, and heat treatment is conducted for 3 hours at the temperature of 350 DEG C in the argon atmosphere after drying; and S4, cooling the film to normal temperature.
