Summary: | In one aspect, the invention relates to a computer-implemented method for determining a set of alarm messages (am) for operating a medical device (MD). The method comprises:-receiving (S1) measurement data (md) having a time indication (ti) from a set of sensors and/or data providers; -aggregating (S2) the received measurement data (md); -processing (S3) the aggregated data (ag) by applying a temporal alarm importance algorithm (TASA) in order to provide a result data set (rd) having the determined set of alarm messages (am) and a calculated execution time defining when the determined set of alarm messages (am) are to be executed.
