Summary:The present invention relates to the use of a threonyl-tRNA synthetase (TARS) derived from Akkermansia muciniphila (Akkermansia muciniphila) or a fragment thereof as an active ingredient for the prevention, alleviation and treatment of inflammatory diseases. The Ackermann muciniphila TARS or a fragment thereof according to the present invention promotes differentiation of M2 macrophages, which are anti-inflammatory macrophages, to expand the macrophages, thereby increasing secretion of IL-10, which is an anti-inflammatory cytokine, resulting in proliferation of B cells, to achieve an anti-inflammatory effect, and to improve the anti-inflammatory effect.
