The present disclosure provides a pharmaceutical composition for inhibiting replication of enteroviruses in a subject. The present invention relates to a composition comprising essentially an extract of at least one plant part derived from Oroxylum indicum (L.) Kurz, and one or more pharmaceutically acceptable excipients selected from the group consisting of solvents, additives, buffers, preservatives, flavors, and stabilizers.
