An apparatus for moving an article is disclosed herein. The device includes a mounting portion for mounting the device to a surface, a platform configured to receive an article thereon, an extendable arm configured to extend away from the mounting portion, where the platform is movable between a storage position above the surface and an accessible position away from the surface, the apparatus also includes a lifting assembly connecting opposite sides of the platform to respective extendable arms, the lifting assembly configured to raise and lower the platform relative to the extendable arms when in the accessible position, and a drive operable to raise and lower the platform. At least one of the lifting assemblies includes three arms, at least one arm being a driven arm driven by a driver thereby raising or lowering the platform, and another one being a stabilizing arm configured to move synchronously with the driven arm thereby stabilizing the platform. 本文公开了一种用于移动物品的装置。该装置包括用于将装置安装到表面的安装部分、配置为在其上容纳物品的平台、配置为
