Certain aspects of the present disclosure provide techniques for ensuring compatibility between network slice operation frequencies and user equipment (UE) radio capabilities. One example method generally includes receiving, from a network core entity, a request for information about capabilities of a user equipment (UE) and information about a plurality of network slices of a set of allowed network slices of the UE; identifying, based on the UE capability information, a subset of the set of allowed network slices that the UE is available for communication between the UE and the network entity; generating a response comprising at least a subset of the set of allowed network slices that the UE is available for communication between the UE and the network entity; and transmitting the response to the network core entity. 本公开的某些方面提供用于确保网络切片操作频率与用户装备(UE)无线电能力之间的兼容性的技术。一种示例方法一般包括：从网络核心实体接收对关于用户装备(UE)的能力的信息和关于UE的所允许网络切片集合中的多个网络切片的信息的请求；基于UE能力信息来标识所允许网络切片集合中UE可用于UE与网络实体之间通信的子集；生成至少包括所允许网络切片集合中UE可用于UE与网络实体之间通信的子集的响应；以
