Summary:The present invention provides a pneumatic tire in which a steel cord ply consisting of ultrafine wires having a wire diameter of 0.15 mm or less is used as a reinforcing material, and the ply is disposed between bead cords without turning up the ply so as to turn up it on the upper side of the ply through an annular bead bundle, therefore, the sidewall stiffness is still maintained even if one steel cord fabric layer is used for replacing two conventional fiber cord fabric layers. Thereby, unlike a conventional turn-up method of turning up a ply on the upper side of an annular bead bundle, the ply passes through the bead bundle as shown in Table 3 to minimize the deformation energy of the bead portion and maximize rolling resistance.
